Sea Star Line, LLC, Jacksonville, FL
Steve Hastings, Director of Operations at Sea Star Line, LLC was looking for a method of storage and containment for the lashing materials used aboard their vessels traveling from Florida to Puerto Rico. He used the vented base of the BOXX® to drain water away from the lashing materials on his steamships.

Since drainage was an issue for Steve, he was looking for a container that would not retain the water from the materials. However, he preferred that the sides of the container be solid. All this was possible with the replaceable BOXX® components offered by Pacific Bin. At no additional cost, Steve was able to purchase solid sides and vented bases to build his own custom "hybrid" bin. "Assembly was no problem - the guys had them put together in no time, "Steve commented. "The first thing we did with the bins was put chains in them - everything worked OK!"

Upon arrival of Pacific Bin's BOXX® products in Puerto Rico, the comment was made "these are the greatest things since sliced white bread!"

Williams Mechanical of Everett, WA
Moving dirt isn't always easy - especially when it's coming from the floor of a supermarket! Williams Mechanical of Everett, WA had contracted to excavate part of a Safeway supermarket to enable the relocation of some refrigeration units.

Since cleanliness and merchandising appeal was a primary concern for the store managers, Jeff Skocelas from Williams Mechanical, searched for an efficient method of storage and relocation of the dirt. "If only I could get the dirt outside and store it in some sort of bin, then the dirt could be returned quickly, cleanly and easily to the foundation when the project is completed," Jeff thought. Not only did the BOXX® satisfy the need, but it also provided an added bonus - the knock-down feature enabled Williams Mechanical to transport up to 6 bins to the remote location in the bed of one of the company pick-up trucks!

Upon completion of the project, Jeff reported "we're very abusive on them, and they've held up just fine." Lightweight, tough and compact - the BOXX® can move and store for you.
