Prior to purchasing the BOXX^® products from Pacific Bin, Fall Creek Farms and Nursery Inc. in Lowell, Oregon, used wire bins for the transportation and cold storage of blueberries. The use of these bins necessitated implementation and upkeep of shelving so the bins could be stacked.

The old wire bins were "hard to move" and "didn't meet their storage needs" - rendering them virtually "unusable". With the introduction of the BOXX^®, Greg Vollstedt says the "bins stack so well, we were able to take out the shelving," thereby maximizing space and reducing expensive energy costs.
