All the fancy hardware in the world doesn’t matter if integration into your existing infrastructure is full of heartache and roadblocks.

To that end, BOXX has worked closely with IT groups over the years to ensure that we meet the level of support from the IT perspective they’re used to – and then we strive to exceed it. To do that, we’ve created an Enterprise Plus customer program: a collection of IT-centric services that make deploying BOXX solutions as seamless as possible.

Engineering Access


From the very beginning, we know that planning is the key component to a successful deployment. We offer access to our top level engineers so that even the most complex technology roll-out is well planned and documented. During the early phases, we look to find potential roadblocks and how they can be avoided. We also optimize configurations and topology to suit the application suites that your users will be utilizing. Sometimes this will even save customers money by making sure that the right hardware is configured for the job. We can run benchmarks on your dataset or ours to make sure you’re going to get the performance you need; setting expectations is a key part of planning ahead. We can even provide remote access to a proposed configuration for your approval. Once we have that approval, we can send a candidate system to your group for performance testing and OS deployment assistance. We’ll even offer driver packs and BIOS configurations specific to your department’s needs. Need something off-menu? We offer Special Build Order services for 100% tailored solutions that may be off-roadmap or specific to your organization.

Integration Services

Once we’ve determined that the right products have been configured and agreed upon, we offer full OS imaging services that save you the step of wiping and deploying your customized OS – just send us your final image and BIOS configuration and we’ll make sure every system that we deliver is out of the box ready to go. We can even make sure your corporate logo is shown on every boot. DMI information (serial numbers, etc.) can also be stored for easy cataloging and asset management.

Quality - Verification vs Validation

BOXX utilizes strict operations metrics as an indication of how well our processes, procedures, and resources are performing. If metrics are not being met, we examine those processes, procedures, and resources to determine the root cause and take the appropriate actions to improve the results. The only way to maintain strict control over these metrics is to start with a solid foundation with our product. That means we don’t just list a bag of parts that are verified to fit together like Legos, but we actually validate our configurations in a variety of usage scenarios and guarantee the level of performance and BOM through the life of the product. This sets us apart from other integrators that are willing to sell you anything off of a parts list.

Some of the Operations metrics are customer facing and influence the customer experience. Obviously any negative trend in the customer experience metrics will cause us to examine our processes, procedures, and resources to reverse the negative trend. We also strive to improve the customer experience by adjusting goals for continuous improvement.

Onsite and Management Services

We know that once product leaves our dock, it is possible that the hardest part of a successful integration project is yet to come. When you’re looking at complex integrations like remote access, virtualization, or network rendering, there are many intangibles that all the planning in the world may not fully mitigate. BOXX offers on-site service that can run the gamut from installation and integration to upgrading or updating. In addition, we offer BOXXview, an IPMI-based management software that allows you control of your IPMI-enabled BOXX hardware. We know the software, and we know the workflow. We’re happy to help!
