Because KeyShot is capable of switching from CPU mode to GPU mode with a single click, BOXX multi-core and/or multi-GPU APEXX workstations are ideal. As a multi-threaded, CPU-based rendering engine, KeyShot takes full advantage of all of the CPU cores in BOXX KeyShot workstations. So if CPU rendering is a major part of your workflow, then you should add as many cores as your budget allows. But because it is also a GPU-based rendering engine (and if GPU rendering is your preferred method) you’ll want to opt for multiple GPUs. Optimizing real-time ray tracing and AI denoising also require GPUs. For a balanced workflow of 3D modeling and the option of KeyShot CPU or GPU rendering, you’ll still want a BOXX workstation equipped with a high clock speed CPU.
