The BOXX Workflow

The BOXX Workflow
Discover unique hardware solution packages specifically designed to address your professional software application bottlenecks. Packages include our most in-demand overclocked workstations and compute nodes like APEXX 2 or APEXX 4 + renderPRO or renderBOXX.

The ultimate rendering and simulation sidekick to your overclocked BOXX workstation, renderPRO is the world’s only personal, desk-side rendering solution. Fully managed by your primary desktop system and featuring dual Intel® Xeon® processors, renderPRO allows you to move computationally intensive tasks from your workstation to a render node, without the cost and complexity of a render farm.

Featuring support for optional overclocked processors and two full-length professional GPUs, the compact and quiet APEXX 2 offers our most popular configurations for CAD design, 3D modeling, and animation.

"...the APEXX 2 surpassed the performance of every other single-socket workstation we have ever tested..." - Desktop Engineering

Configurable with up to two Intel® Xeon® processors for a total of 36 cores (72 threads), the high performance APEXX 4 can tear through rendering and simulation tasks with ease. APEXX 4 is also our most versatile platform, featuring support for an optional overclocked single processor, maximum memory, and up to four professional GPUs.

Overclocked Advantage

When configuring an APEXX 2 compact workstation, you have the option to safely overclock the CPU. For single-threaded applications like CAD design and 3D modeling, this can have a significant impact on your workflow and productivity. Working with our partners at Intel, combined with our own rigorous internal testing, ensures rock solid reliability and performance on each overclocked APEXX workstation. This translates to measureable ROI for your business.

BOXX Performance Specialists not only know hardware inside and out, they also understand the challenges that come with the advanced software you use in your everyday workflow! Whether you use Autodesk Revit or 3ds Max for modeling, V-Ray or Iray for rendering, SOLIDWORKS for simulation, or any other advanced computing software, one of our experts can walk you through the entire process, answer questions about your specific workflow, and address all those pesky pain points that cost you time and money. Ask anyone — you won't find real software experts with helpful advice at Dell, HP, or Apple.
